The league that has brought Turkey’s insurance sector together on the pitch for 12 years
The Insurance Sector League (SSL) is a sports competition in which people working in Turkey’s insurance industry play in company teams. Insurance and pension companies, agencies, brokers, reinsurers and loss adjusters meet in the same fixture list, under the same rules and to the same referee’s whistle. Our aim is to put people who sit on opposite sides of the table at work on the same side of the pitch, and to build friendship, team spirit and healthy competition across the industry.
The league runs in two sports: football on grass and beach volleyball on the sand. In football, teams first play in groups, followed by the semi-finals and the final. Every match is recorded, and goals, assists, cards and fair-play points go into the statistics on this site.
Employees without a full squad can join a mixed team, and SSL Smart offers a short, intense weekend format. Eligibility, the required share of sector employees and disciplinary rules are set out in the regulations published each season (in Turkish).
Results, statistics and photos on this site are collected at the venue by our organising team; we do not use stock photos. Match videos are published on our YouTube channel.
The Insurance Sector League is organised by Leveldone Events Organizasyon Hizmetleri Ltd. Şti. Our team runs the whole event, from pitches, referees, medical staff, accommodation and transport to match records, photography and live streaming.
